So I had an idea that I will be working on, a recruitment video that leaves an impression. I will be updating and taking input on that project here on this forum. It will be based on the iconic helicopter assault scene from Apocalypse Now. Here's the basic treatment.
NORAMoclypse Now:
Scene is set on Pearl River map. First shot is of a horde of NORAM tanks moving towards the Pearl River village, but still in the hills. Small enemy scout tank is dipping his toe in the water at the river when he hears "Flight of the Valkyries" music fade in, followed by the rumble of tank engines. The first NORAM tank crests the hill and looks down at the scout. The scout turns to run, more NORAM tanks crest the ridge and begin firing on the village and destroy the scout. The NORAM formation moves in towards the village releasing a storm of gunfire. Enemy tanks are running back and forth, some getting blown up, buildings exploding. A second NORAM detachment comes down behind the village from the central mountain and then more come from under the bridge, completely encircling the besieged village tanks. Scene ends with an orgy of gunfire, and exploding tanks.
Note: we don't have a surfboard mod, or I would show tanks surfing the river afterwards.

This is a relatively big video project and will take several shoots to complete. Each shoot will take the full 15 minutes of a training round. I am hoping to round up around 10 players to help with the largest scenes which will all be shot when we have everyone around. I expect it will cost participants a half hour of time during each shoot. Let me know if you would like to participate. When I have this better scripted and ready to go, I will begin recruiting "actors" from our clan to help make it. Most scenes will not require more than 4 or 5 tanks.
