Since it is a matter of debate, i keep screenshots of the matches xvm stats and do some math with them; even though i'm no statistician i can see a deviation in the weight of the wn8 and the sum of tier tanks in the matches that cannot be called random. With random teams you would get a probabilistic spread in a Gauss bell where <25% win/lose probability matches would be around 1/5 of the total (the tails to the left and right of the bell). Instead, i get 25% win/lose match combo in an inverted Gaussian distribution bell. What this means is that MM is rigged to create "rape" scenarios so that very seldom you get matches that are balanced at the outset, and then the imbalance becomes more tilted as the first few minutes of the game develop and the tomatos start dying of natural causes (natural for their lack of skill).
This is actually not a complaint on the algorithm because when the time comes (about once every 3 days) i get a streak of easy matches. But it is a complaint against the lack of transparency on the part of the devs and their algorithms.
What do i plan to do about it? Absolutely nothing. i'll keep on playing the game and enjoying it as much now as in the past. But there's one thing i will not do and that is buy anything from the devs, the parent company. I have enough wits about me to keep a moderately well supplied bourse of ingame silver to equip the little stock of tanks i have.
I will reconsider on my not patronizing wargaming.net when if they open up their MM algorithm for inspection or plain fix it so that it assumes the shape of a random distribution graph.
